Job summary

M.C. Dean in the United States is seeking a Deputy Project Leader (Telecommunications) to supervise and direct project teams, prepare plans and budgets, and develop comprehensive project plans for telecom and information transport systems.

The role requires experience leading design and construction teams on passive and active infrastructure. Candidates should have 5+ years in telecom/electrical construction, familiarity with contract drawings, RFIs, submittals, and tools like AutoCAD and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a telecommunications integrator or electrical contractor and a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience on telecom and electronic security projects from $500k to $10M.
• Experience with contract drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontracts.
• Experience installing Information Transport Systems and related tech.
• Proficiency with MS Office, project management tools, CPM scheduling, cost modeling, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist a team on telecommunications and security projects to ensure design efficiency and compliance.
• Design and deploy Information Transport Systems and telecom systems.
• Run day-to-day project operations and monitor change orders and cash flow.
• Maintain as-builts and document project issues/conditions.
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve issues.
• Read blueprints and prepare complete project estimates.
