WSP Global Inc. in Boise, ID is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer – Technical Director to lead telecom infrastructure projects for utility and industrial clients across the United States.

You will guide design, procurement, testing, and provisioning of fiber, microwave and data networks; mentor teams; maintain client relations; and contribute to proposals and project delivery while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Formación

• 12+ years of telecommunications engineering experience in utility/industrial facilities.
• Advanced design experience for substations, generation facilities, and T&D systems.
• Experience leading complex projects and coordinating scopes, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Ability to mentor and supervise project team members and provide technical guidance.
• PE license or eligibility; professional certifications are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical and project leadership for telecom engineering work on utility and industrial projects.
• Lead design for fiber, microwave, IP, Ethernet, MPLS networks and SCADA communications.
• Review OTDRs, design microwave links, and verify network performance.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and proposals; maintain client relations.
