WSP Global Inc. seeks a Telecommunications Engineer – Experienced Professional for the Boise, ID office, with potential for other locations or remote arrangements.

You will design telecoms for utility and industrial clients, contribute to project delivery, and mentor team members across projects in ESSP. Responsibilities include specifying equipment, validating networks (fiber, microwave, IP), and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or telecommunications engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience; or 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience designing telecommunications infrastructure for utility, industrial or commercial facilities.
• Knowledge of fiber-optic, microwave, TDM/SONET, MPLS, Ethernet networks.

Aufgaben

• Design telecommunications infrastructure and systems for facilities and microgrids.
• Specify equipment and prepare procurement, installation, testing, and provisioning docs for outside-plant links.
• Review OTDR reports for fiber-optic links and verify network performance.
• Design network paths for SCADA equipment and data users.
• Mentor project team members and ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
