Job summary
RingCentral in Boston, MA is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to support day-to-day telecom operations, including cloud and on-prem VoIP, TDM, analog, voicemail, and conferencing. The role also handles moves, changes, and escalation for the Telecom team.
You will administer and support RingCentral cloud-based voice for 3,000+ UC end users and 500+ call center agents, while integrating with IVR, call recording, and SIP/PRI systems.
Qualifications
- RingCentral experience REQUIRED.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years in telecom/information tech.
- Strong written and spoken English communication.
- Progressive knowledge of telecom/network systems.
- Experience with Avaya tools and call recording platforms.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, design, document, troubleshoot, and administer telecom systems.
- Manage telecom moves, adds, changes.
- Handle daily ServiceNow tickets for clinical and administrative staff.
- Provide end-user training and on-site support.
- Collaborate with Network, InfoSec, Service Desk, and vendors on voice services.
- Maintain telecom documentation: configurations, SOPs, call flows, IP schemas, QoS.
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate complex installations with outside vendors.
