Job summary

Boston Medical Center, Corp. seeks a Telecommunication Specialist to design, deploy, and maintain voice and telecommunication systems across BMCHS campuses and clinics.

Responsibilities include managing moves/adds/changes, handling ServiceNow tickets, and ensuring uninterrupted voice services with Ring Central, Cisco, and Avaya platforms. You will back up systems, document configurations, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with network, security, and IT leadership to align telecom

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in computer science and at least five years’ experience working with telecommunications and information technology network systems; or equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
Ring Central experience required
Cisco CCNA/CCVP certifications preferred
Avaya Certified Support or Implementation Specialist preferred

Responsibilities

Manages and supports all moves, adds and changes.
Works daily ServiceNow tickets for staff.
Collaborates with IT teams to ensure secure, scalable voice services.
Document and deliver technical and administrative training for end users and team members.
Manage call routing, dial plans and voicemail systems for optimal call flow.
