Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP USA company, is seeking a Telecommunications Designer to design Outside Plant Pathways and building systems supporting the Controls Network. The role involves creating 2D drawings and 3D BIM models, focusing on low voltage telecom, AV, security, and integration across multiple projects.

You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities to mentor junior designers and lead telecom design efforts on mission-critical/data center

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience designing low voltage systems for high performing commercial, industrial, or mission critical/data center buildings (≤140 chars)

Responsibilities

• Work independently to perform BIM/CAD design assignments supporting multiple engineering disciplines
• Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit or equivalent BIM program
• Design low voltage systems including telecommunications, audio visual, security, and control integrations
• Meet required schedules while producing quality work
• Perform QA/QC of design packages
• Lead telecom design tasks and collaborate with architects, contractors and owners
