WSP USA is seeking a Lead Telecommunications Designer to join our Mission Critical / Data Center BTS team, guiding telecommunications and structured cabling for hyperscale facilities. The role provides technical leadership from planning through turnover, with responsibility for Revit drawings, BOS narratives, and coordination across disciplines.

You will translate owner requirements into scalable, repeatable designs, lead junior designers, review deliverables, and collaborate with building

Qualifications

• 7+ years of telecommunications/ICT design experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, IT or related field.

Responsabilités

• Design data center telecommunications infrastructure including structured cabling, spaces, pathways, and layouts.
• Lead telecom design delivery from planning through construction and turnover; approve scope, fee, schedule, and risk decisions.
• Coordinate interfaces with building systems and operations; communicate decisions to clients and leadership.
• Develop Revit drawings, specifications, and basis‑of‑design narratives aligning with codes and standards.
• Mentor junior designers and support progressive independence and development.
