Job summary

Optimum is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide on-site and in-house pre-sale support for complex voice, data, and video solutions. You will work with the Commercial Sales team to enable new sales and retention opportunities, translating technical requirements into practical designs.

The role spans sales engineering, network design, and post-implementation support, interfacing with Sales, Network Engineering, Provisioning, and NOC to ensure customer satisfaction and successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Telecom/Technical Sales experience with IP network infra and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, enterprise wireless networking, firewalls, VPNs, Ethernet, PON, and IoT applications.
• Proficient in presenting to customers and training Sales teams on data networking and Optimum services.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sale technical expertise to the Sales Force.
• Consult with Account Executives on network design and CPE decisions.
• Participate in customer presentations highlighting Managed WiFi, Fiber, HFC networks.
