Cogent Communications is seeking a Sales Director to lead a sales team and drive new revenue. You will coach Sales Managers and reps, develop and implement a sales strategy, and maintain direct customer engagement to meet quotas.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic execution and a track record in telecom/technology sales, with five days a week in-office work in Phoenix. A college degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success selling Telecom/Technology products.
• Experience finding new business.
• Strong team leadership and management experience; must have experience managing Sales Managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a sales team of Sales Managers and their reps.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet revenue quotas.
• Direct customer contact will comprise a major portion of this role.
