Cogent Communications is a global, Tier 1 facilities-based ISP delivering high-speed Internet and Ethernet transport services. This in-office role leads a sales team, drives strategy to meet revenue targets, and involves direct customer contact. A college degree is preferred, with experience selling telecom/technology products and managing Sales Managers.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success selling Telecom/Technology products.
• Experience finding new business.
• Strong team leadership and management experience including managing Sales Managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a sales team of Sales Managers and their reps.
• Develop and execute a Sales Strategy to meet new revenue quota.
• Direct customer contact will comprise a major portion of the assignment.
• Lead, coach, and train managers and sales reps in selling Cogent products.
