Job summary

Metronet is seeking a Controls Manager to lead contract drafting, bidding, procurement, and scheduling for fiber construction projects. You will monitor financial health, develop reporting structures, and coordinate with senior leadership and customers.

The role requires strong financial and Excel skills, plus 4+ years in telecom construction or related field and familiarity with PM tools and methodologies. On-site work in our construction teams, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in construction management, civil or electrical engineering preferred but not required.
• Strong financial reporting skills.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Extensive experience with procurement of materials and services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, distribute, and evaluate project related RFPs/RFQs.
• Develop and draft scopes of work in conjunction with other departments.
• Administer subcontracts and subcontractor agreements, including review and selection.
• Maintain project inventory and warehouse facility.
• Manage local and state permitting processes.
• Contract compliance management/assurance.
• Maintain and manage Contractor and Professional Engineering files.
• Monitor and maintain daily production reports and update project schedules.
