Job summary

Metronet is seeking a Controls Manager to lead project contracts, schedules, bids, procurement, and financial health reporting. You will collaborate with the Vice President of Construction and cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget project delivery across telecommunications deployments.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction management, advanced Excel, and formal procurement experience within telecom projects.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in construction management, civil, or electrical engineering preferred but not required.
• Strong financial reporting skills and Excel proficiency.
• Extensive experience in procurement for project-related materials/services.
• Four+ years in telecommunications construction or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, distribute, and evaluate project RFPs/RFQs.
• Develop and draft scopes of work with other departments.
• Administer subcontracts and subcontractor agreements, bid review and monitoring.
• Maintain project inventory and warehouse facility.
• Manage local and state permitting processes.
• Contract compliance management/assurance.
• Monitor daily production reports and update project schedules.
• Monitor project progression relative to schedule.
