Zusammenfassung

Lightpath is hiring a Construction Manager to lead telecom infrastructure deployments from cost estimation through as-built documentation and customer activation. You will survey sites to plan cost/time efficient deployments, develop accurate construction prints, and bid work to vendors.

Responsibilities include budget administration, schedule oversight for internal/vendor crews, and ensuring progress visibility in Oracle/Netcracker, with emphasis on customer service and regulatory licensing

Qualifikationen

• Minimum HS graduate; some college preferred.
• Approximately 5 years in OSP/ISP telecom construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction prints.
• Knowledge of fiber optic materials and construction practices.
• Valid drivers license in the state of residence.

Aufgaben

• Assemble detailed and accurate cost estimates for upcoming construction projects.
• Administrate the project budget: visibility and on-budget performance throughout the project life cycle.
• Prepare detailed scopes of work and follow company processes for bids and vendor awards.
• Establish project timeline and oversee daily activities of vendor and/or internal resources for on-time delivery.
• Ensure project visibility using company systems such as Oracle and Netcracker.
• Demonstrate superior customer service at all customer-facing meetings and inspections.
• Support the ROW team in obtaining municipal and utility licenses and permits.
• Ensure timely processing of project documentation: POs, invoices, as-builts, etc.
• Secure any Certificates of Insurance from vendors.
• Provide regular updates on construction status to stakeholders and Lightpath systems.
• Participate in network maintenance and repair activities.
• Other duties as required.
