Job summary

Metronet is seeking a Construction Manager in Texas to lead project teams, manage budgets and timelines, and interface with customers. You will oversee contracts, develop work plans, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of telecom OSP construction experience, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and the business acumen to drive profitable project delivery while representing Metronet professionally in the field.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of telecom construction and engineering, project budgeting and management, scheduling and tracking.
• Experience with project finance, cost reporting, and field office operations.
• Ten or more years of telecommunications OSP network design and construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand contract requirements for each project.
• Create and execute project work plans, schedules, and budgets; secure resources.
• Assign duties to the PM team and staff.
• Manage day-to-day operations to meet timelines and budget.
• Meet with customers and provide progress reports; manage changes to plans.
• Interpret specifications and coordinate technical delivery with staff.
• Communicate requirements to project staff and clarify technology and design needs.
• Represent Metronet to customers through meetings and updates.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, permits, and authorizations.
• Review job cost reports and maintain communication with leadership.
• Deliver quality results efficiently and professionally.
