People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking an Installation & Repair Technician in Fort Knox, KY. The role involves in-depth maintenance, installation and repair of Inside Plant telecom systems including Avaya and VoIP, with emphasis on TMS, circuit packs and central office equipment.

The candidate should have five years ISP experience, a valid driver’s license and relevant certifications such as BICSI installer 1 and OSHA training. A secret clearance is noted as part of the job requirements.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BICSI installer 1 qualified.
• OSHA Confined Space.

Responsabilidades

• Performs ISP maintenance, installation, testing and repair on telecom equipment.
• Installs and troubleshoots digital switching equipment and related systems.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on switch hardware.
• Resolves voice-related customer trouble calls.
• Analyzes failures to identify software vs hardware causes.
• Maintains central office records and inventories.
• Provides remote diagnostics and technical support as needed.
• Maintains synchronous optical network.
• Diagnoses and replaces faulty switch packs and circuits.
• Installs and troubleshoots T-1 circuits and trunks.
• Maintains customer rapport and supports ticket administration as needed.
