Job summary

TAK Broadband is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee daily installation/fulfillment operations in the Philadelphia, PA area. You will confirm technician readiness, assign work, and ensure on-time completion while upholding quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years in telecom, strong customer service, and ability to travel up to 50% with occasional overnights. You will coach technicians, monitor progress with field tools, and coordinate with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cable, broadband or telecom required.
• Prior leadership experience a plus.
• Ability to travel up to +/-50% annually.
• Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop field technicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily installation/fulfillment operations for the assigned market.
• Verify technicians are logged in with routes and ready to start on time.
• Distribute daily work and reallocate when needed; cover routes if necessary.
• Participate in onboarding of new contractor crews.
• Monitor technician progress using workforce management tools.
• Perform on-site quality checks and provide coaching.
• Respond to client calls or escalations and support troubleshooting on-site.
• Mentor and develop technicians during ride-alongs.
• Participate in daily KPI/verification calls with client and leadership.
• Coordinate with client leadership and internal teams to align workload and needs.
• Ensure not-done jobs are validated with customers and accurately reported.
• Assist warehouse teams with tracking client equipment and CPE deliveries.
• Be the market expert, spend 80%+ time in the field.
• Review completed work monthly and provide feedback.
• Ensure equipment and meters are maintained and secure.
• Travel to project sites +/- 50% annually with overnight stays.
• Ensure crews follow safety standards and applicable laws.
• Work in varied environments (indoor, outdoor, elevations).
• Other duties as assigned.
