Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Superintendent to lead daily field operations, ensure on-time delivery, and manage safety and quality.

You will coordinate field staff, contractors, and equipment, monitor schedules, and drive performance across projects nationwide. This site-based role requires travel across states and a strong background in construction supervision. HDD knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years construction supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of underground installation methods (HDD) a plus.
• Two-year college, trade, or technical diploma preferred.
• Understanding of current construction practices, costs, and budgets.
• Ability to plan and manage project schedules within defined guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction activities comply with plans, codes and quality standards.
• Champion site safety by enforcing standards and participating in safety programs.
• Monitor schedules, estimate durations and material needs, and track progress to milestones.
• Direct field staff and coordinate labor, equipment and subcontractor resources.
• Supervise crafts and subcontractors, guiding performance and site expectations.
• Manage procurement tasks including purchase requisitions and invoicing reviews.
