Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks a Superintendent to lead daily field operations, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards. You will execute project plans, uphold site safety, and manage field staff, contractors, and tradespeople.

Qualifications

One to five years of construction experience in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of underground fiber installation methods (Plow and HDD).
Two-year college, trade, or technical diploma preferred.
Understanding of construction practices, documents, costs, and budgets.
Ability to plan and manage project schedules; develop solutions within guidelines.
Effective communication when collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Military experience equivalent to 12N/12H is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure all construction activities comply with approved plans, specs, shop drawings, codes, and quality standards.
Champion site safety by enforcing standards and leading safety meetings.
Monitor short-term schedules and material needs to meet milestones.
Direct field staff and coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractors to hit goals.
Supervise craft workers and subcontractors, guiding performance and site expectations.
Manage procurement tasks including purchase requisitions and reviewing invoices.
