Qualifications

• 1–5 years of construction experience in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation methods is a plus (HDD).
• Two-year college, trade, or technical diploma (preferred).
• Understanding of current construction practices, documents, costs, and budgets.
• Ability to plan and manage project schedules and develop solutions within guidelines.
• Effective communication across stakeholders and diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved plans, specs, shop drawings, building codes, and quality standards including PQP oversight and testing.
• Champion site safety by enforcing standards, leading safety meetings, and supporting the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP).
• Monitor short-term schedules, estimate activity durations and material needs, and track progress to meet milestones.
• Direct field staff and coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources to meet safety, schedule, and quality goals.
• Supervise craft workers and subcontractors, guiding performance and maintaining site expectations.
• Manage procurement tasks such as preparing purchase requisitions and reviewing supplier and subcontractor invoices.
