Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Superintendent to lead daily field operations across North America. You will ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, and high quality standards, while executing plans, safety, and quality control.

You will supervise field staff, contractors, and trades, driving on-time performance and project success. Your leadership will guide the team through complex schedules, resource planning, and stakeholder communications, with travel across multiple states

Qualifications

One to three years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent.
Experience in aerial and underground fiber installation methods is a plus (Plow and Horizontal Directional Drill, HDD).
Post‑secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
Effective communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
Lead the development of project quality plans and safety programs, and oversee incident investigations.
Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project schedules.
Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
Maintain a working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project.
Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations.
Set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team.
Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and superintendents.
