Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead daily field operations for telecommunications construction projects. You will manage schedules, budgets, safety, and quality while directing field staff, contractors, and tradespeople to deliver projects on time and within scope.

You will develop and enforce project plans, supervise crews, and mentor junior staff, ensuring adherence to building codes and standards across multiple sites with substantial travel.

• Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors.
• Experience in telecommunications construction supervision is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Lead the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversee incident investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project schedules.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Monitor financial aspects of the project and reporting requirements.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents.
