Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Telecommunication Technician 3 (Site Admin Technician 3) to join the Field Services team. This role provides remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability services at customer sites across an assigned territory.

You will administer kiosk service and collections, replace telephony hardware, troubleshoot network components, and maintain professional relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of related experience in telecom field.
• Proficient in Windows OS, MS Office, and related software.
• Proficient with telephony and networking including copper, CAT5/6, and fiber.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability services.
• Serve as ambassador for ViaPath with customers and clients, ensuring service excellence.
• Prioritize and plan assigned service calls and communicate updates.
• Escalate problems when appropriate and maintain professional customer relations.
• Replace telephony hardware and network components; pull cable and install devices.
• Administer kiosk service and collections at customer sites and handle deposits.
• Troubleshoot basic tablet functionality and Wi-Fi connectivity when needed.
• Return damaged equipment per ViaPath RMAs.
