Job summary

ViaPath Technologies is seeking a Telecommunications Site Technician 4 to support field service operations across assigned customer sites. The role involves remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and site administration to ensure system reliability, with travel as required to additional sites.

You will work largely independently under supervision while maintaining service quality and coordinating with field management. A strong background in telephony, networking, and wiring is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dual role in troubleshooting and repairs with strong data collection and analysis.
• Experience with telephony, copper, CAT5/6, and fiber wiring.
• Willingness to travel daily to customer sites and on occasions overnight.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Field Service representative delivering service excellence at client sites.
• Oversee service of ViaPath products and assist customers as needed.
• Plan and prioritize service calls; communicate updates.
• Escalate issues when necessary and liaise with Technical Support.
