Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Telecommunication Technician 3 (Site Admin Technician 3) to join the Field Services team. This position will be based at the client site in Indian Springs, NV, with travel to additional sites.

Under the direction of the Field Service Manager, you will perform remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability services largely independently. You will replace telephony hardware and network components, pull cable, install devices, and administer kiosk service.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of related field service experience.
• Proficient troubleshooting to define problems and resolve issues.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, and related software.
• Experience with telephony and networking hardware and cabling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional ambassador for ViaPath with customers.
• Maintain service of ViaPath products at assigned sites and assist customers as needed.
• Prioritize and plan service calls; communicate updates to customers.
• Replace telephony hardware and network components; pull cables and install devices.
• Administer kiosk service, handle collections, and deposit monies as required.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; collaborate with Technical Support.
