Job summary

Ritter Communications is seeking an Installer I to install and repair voice, video, and high-speed data services for residential and small/business customers across copper, coax, and fiber networks. This role performs technical field work and responds to customer issues with high service quality.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least one year of telecom installation/repair experience, strong safety awareness, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Minimum of one year installation/repair experience with telecom equipment.
• Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license.
• Strong safety awareness per OSHA rules and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Installs Ritter services (coax, copper, fiber) and identifies correct cable pairs.
• Installs grounding, routes, and station protectors; troubleshoots faults.
• Coordinates with Dispatch/Outside Plant to ensure quality work and accurate records.
• Performs in-field maintenance and repair of data equipment, modems, and lines.
• Travels to customer sites and supports FTTH and security installations.
