Ritter Communications, headquartered in Jonesboro, Arkansas, is a leading telecom provider serving the Mid-South. As a strong employer in the region, we are seeking an Installer to install and repair voice, video, and high-speed data services for residential and small/medium business customers across copper, coax, and fiber networks.

The Installer I will perform field technical work, respond to customer issues with high service quality, and travel to various sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Experience installing and repairing telecom equipment over copper or HFC networks is preferred.
• Knowledge of electronics, schematics, and CATV plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Installs all Ritter services including coax, copper, and fiber delivery; identifies correct cable pair.
• Installs grounding for drop, wiring, and station protectors.
• Locates and repairs faults; tests loops and records readings per plan.
• Assists in installation and maintenance of data equipment, modems, and circuits.
• Coordinates service installs with dispatch and maintains plant records.
• Climbs poles and uses bucket truck; travels to customer sites as needed.
