Job summary

Ritter Communications seeks an Installer to install and repair voice, video, and high-speed data services for residential and small/medium business customers. The role covers copper, coax, and fiber installations with safety-focused field work.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, basic technical training, and at least one year of telecom installation experience, with a valid driver’s license. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required with additional related technical training preferred.
One year of experience in installation and repair of telecommunications equipment and services on copper or HFC networks.
Experience with both copper and fiber systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Installs all Ritter services including coax, copper, and fiber delivery and identifies correct cable pairs.
Installs proper grounding for drop, inside wiring, and station protectors.
Locates trouble in service installations and repairs or replaces faults.
Checks readings and localizes line trouble; changes cable drops if required.
Coordinates with dispatch and other departments to ensure work meets standards and updates records.
Travels to customer sites and works in the field with safety compliance.
