Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. seeks an experienced Superintendent for large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects across North America. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, and monitor performance to ensure safety and quality.

This site-based role requires travel to Ledcor offices and project sites across multiple states on a travel rotation, with mentorship of staff and leadership of subcontractors to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in telecom construction supervision.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation or civil/wireless construction is a plus.
• Post-secondary education in related field is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, drawings and specs.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise craft employees and subcontractors.
• Problem-solving and proactive planning abilities.
• Solid organizational and scheduling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations and develop project plans.
• Monitor performance and anticipate client needs.
• Lead Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs and investigations.
• Review schedules, address delays, and contribute to project timelines.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Coordinate subcontractor selection, procurement, and negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff.
