Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a Telecommunications BIM Designer to lead Revit-model setup and management for telecom projects across the United States. You will coordinate with discipline leads and teams to produce fully coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Revit design experience and 2+ years in telecom systems design, with strong math, coding standards, and client standards expertise.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least 3 years of Revit design experience
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry
• A growing understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions
• A growing understanding of design and construction specifications and their function
• Experience following client design and modeling standards
• Familiarity with Bluebeam as a markup software
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn new things
