Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to lead Revit model setup and management within telecom projects. You will work with discipline leads and engineers to produce fully coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring adherence to client BIM standards.

Ideal candidates have strong Revit experience, familiarity with Bluebeam, and a collaborative mindset to deliver accurate, clash-free designs for data center environments.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of Revit design experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry.
• A growing understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions.
• A growing understanding of design and construction specifications and their function.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam as a markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new things.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with other discipline BIM leads and team members.
• Create and manage content towards fully coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings across design disciplines.
• Coordinate with designers, discipline leads, architects and engineers on the Jacobs design team.
• Follow Jacobs and client BIM standards to deliver clash-free 3D models.
