Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to lead Revit BIM modeling for telecom projects and coordinate with discipline leads and engineers. You will produce 3D models and 2D drawings across multiple design disciplines, ensuring coordination and adherence to standards.

You will work within a collaborative team, using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD to deliver constructible deliverables in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 3 years of Revit design experience.
At least 2 years of telecom systems design experience.
Understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
Understanding design and construction specifications and their function.
Experience following client design and modeling standards.
Familiarity with Bluebeam as a markup software.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn new things.

Responsibilities

Set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with discipline leads.
Create and coordinate content toward fully coordinated 3D models (C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L).
Produce 2D construction drawings and clash-free content.
Collaborate with designers, engineers and architects on Jacobs' design team.
Follow Jacobs' design methods and client BIM standards.
