Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to join the design team, focusing on Revit BIM models and 3D coordination across disciplines. You will create content in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, working with consultants, architects, and engineers to turn design intent into constructible deliverables for data center projects.

The role requires at least 3 years Revit design, 2 years telecom design, strong standards knowledge, and good communication.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Revit design experience.
• At least 2 years of telecom systems design and construction experience.
• Growing understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Knowledge of design and construction specifications and their function.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam for markups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new things.

Responsibilities

• Engage in design documentation and BIM setup management.
• Coordinate BIM models with other discipline leads and team members.
• Produce 2D construction drawings and coordinated 3D models.
• Ensure deliverables align with Jacobs and client BIM standards.
