Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to contribute to design documentation and manage Revit BIM models across disciplines. You will coordinate with telecom leads and project teams, delivering fully coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD in line with Jacobs and client standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong Revit experience (3+ years), telecom design knowledge, and the ability to work with clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least 3 years of Revit design experience
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry
• Growing understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions
• Growing understanding of design and construction specifications and their function
• Experience following client design and modeling standards
• Familiarity with Bluebeam as a markup software
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn new things

Responsibilities

• Design documentation and manage Revit BIM models
• Coordinate with other BIM leads and team members
• Create 2D construction drawings
• Work to adhere to Jacobs and client BIM standards and create clash-free 3D models
