Sun Recruiting, Inc. is supporting an AmLaw 50 firm in recruiting a Technology Transactions Associate Attorney in San Francisco. The role focuses on sophisticated IP and technology transactions for global tech clients, requiring strong drafting and negotiation skills.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, active CA Bar admission, and 3–6 years of IP and commercial transactions experience in a law firm setting. AI interest is a plus.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academics.
• Coursework in IP, technology, and/or commercial law required.
• Active California Bar in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of technology and IP agreements including licensing, development, services, distribution, manufacturing, and collaborations.
• Provide IP diligence and strategic counseling in connection with M&A, equity financing, e-commerce, media, and entertainment transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address IP-related risks and strategy.
• Advise clients on structuring commercial transactions aligned with evolving business models and tech trends.
• Work with clients to understand business objectives and craft tailored legal solutions.
• Contribute to team development, knowledge sharing, and client growth initiatives.
