An AmLaw 50 firm in San Francisco, CA seeks an Associate Attorney for its leading Technology Transactions Practice Group. The role focuses on high-impact IP and technology transactions for global technology clients.

Ideal candidates have a JD from a top-tier law school, CA admission in good standing, 3–6 years of IP and technology transactions experience, and a strong background in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Coursework in IP, technology, and/or commercial law is required.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of technology and IP agreements, including licensing, development, services, distribution, and collaborations.
• Provide IP diligence and strategic counseling in connection with M&A, equity financing, E-commerce, media, and entertainment transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address IP-related risks and strategy.
• Advise clients on structuring commercial transactions that align with evolving business models and technology trends.
• Work directly with clients to understand business objectives and craft tailored legal solutions.
• Contribute to team development, knowledge sharing, and client growth initiatives.
