Job summary

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a Technology Transactions Associate at junior to midlevel with strong drafting and negotiating skills to handle cutting-edge tech matters. The role spans AI, cloud, software, and data strategies, advising a diverse client base on complex deals and regulatory considerations.

You will collaborate across teams to structure and negotiate strategic agreements, while developing the practice and advancing client solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in the firm’s relevant jurisdiction(s).
• 1–3 years of experience in technology transactions, licensing, intellectual property, and outsourcing.
• Strong understanding of issues relating to AI, cloud computing, and software development and commercialization.
• Exceptional writing, communication, and negotiation skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate strategic technology transactions.
• Draft and negotiate vendor, supplier and outsourcing agreements.
• Counsel clients on the evolving IP and regulatory landscape related to technology matters.
• Draft and negotiate agreements related to software licensing, technology development, commercialization, IP rights, and content management.
