Job summary

Central New Mexico Community College is seeking a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver both instructor-led and self-paced training for new systems, software, and features to faculty and staff in the CNM environment. You will design training materials, deliver webinars, and assess learning needs to tailor content.

The role includes maintaining LMS data, coordinating training sessions, and collaborating with other trainers to ensure high-quality content.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field with five years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree with three years related experience.
• Teaching or training experience preferred.
• Technical writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver technical training programs, including presentations and webinars.
• Assess training needs and certification requirements for tailored content.
• Deploy training sessions and provide end-user training for clients.
• Create instructor materials and course outlines.
• Collaborate with other trainers to refine content and delivery.
• Ensure quality and consistency of course content throughout lifecycle.
• Plan diverse training methods including classroom and e-learning.
• Maintain data integrity in the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Develop tracking and communication protocols for LMS coordination.
