Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a customer-focused associate to assist customers during check-in and checkout, answer technology questions, and help with device setup or repairs. You will monitor queues, provide status updates, and collaborate with teammates to deliver great service.

The role requires at least 3 months in retail or customer service and a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends. Training and certification opportunities are available to grow your tech knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents
