Job summary

Regions Financial Corporation is seeking a Technology Business Manager in Hoover, AL to partner with the Divisional CIO in shaping technology strategies and governance. You will lead a team delivering financial planning, portfolio oversight, risk coordination, and leadership routines to drive execution and regulatory readiness.

This exempt, onsite role focuses on cross-functional alignment, performance transparency, and delivering insights through executive dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or related field and twelve (12) years of relevant experience in technology, business management, strategy, operations, governance, risk management, or financial services
• Or High School Diploma/GED and sixteen (16) years of relevant experience in technology, business management, strategy, operations, governance, risk management, or financial services
• Five (5) years of experience leading teams and developing associates
• Experience supporting technology organizations, strategic initiatives, portfolio management activities, or business operations functions
• Experience developing executive communications, business reporting, and performance metrics
• Experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management activities
• Experience partnering with Risk, Compliance, Audit, Finance, HR, or other enterprise functions

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technology strategies, operating priorities, and organizational objectives aligned with business goals
• Lead a team responsible for business management, governance, reporting, planning, and operational activities
• Lead annual planning activities, including budget development, headcount planning, investment planning, and financial forecasting
• Oversee technology portfolio governance, prioritizing initiatives and regulatory commitments
• Monitor portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes with escalation as needed
• Produce executive-level reporting, dashboards, and communications on financial performance and priorities
• Coordinate with Finance to manage budget performance, productivity, and investments
• Support regulatory examinations, audits, remediation programs, and governance reviews with Risk/Compliance/Audit
• Support workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives
• Oversee leadership operating routines, including business reviews and governance forums
• Facilitate communication across leadership and stakeholders to support alignment
• Establish and monitor KPIs and reporting frameworks for performance
• Collaborate to ensure technology investments meet objectives and regulatory requirements
• Support vendor governance, contract oversight, and risk management
• Lead special projects and process improvements
• Identify opportunities to improve governance and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with risk management and cybersecurity practices
