Job summary

Staffing Industry Analysts seeks a Technology Research Analyst to study talent acquisition technology and staffing market trends. You will produce research, analyze survey results, and present insights to executives across conferences, webinars, and client discussions.

The role emphasizes data analysis, vendor briefings, and collaboration with industry leaders, with a strong preference for candidates on the US West Coast. Remote work within the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant professional experience; five+ preferred.
• Experience in staffing, talent acquisition, or workforce solutions, ideally at a tech provider or tech-focused staffing role.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; ability to organize, validate, analyze and interpret data.
• Ability to work independently on market sizing, survey interpretation and basic statistics; explain methods and assumptions clearly.
• Excellent business writing; produce concise, structured analysis for decision-makers.
• Effective data visualization; produce polished visuals for reports and narratives.
• Executive communication and relationship skills; present findings to senior audiences and clients.
• Research judgment, curiosity, and ownership; able to learn new subjects and manage projects across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Produce independent and collaborative research; write evidence-based reports for executives.
• Develop survey-based insights; design questionnaires and manage data collection and validation.
• Analyze data and present findings with clear visuals for executive audiences.
• Build industry relationships; brief vendors and exchange market observations.
• Support clients by answering inquiries and helping apply insights to their business.
• Present research at conferences, webinars, and client briefings; contribute to programming.
