Job summary

Crain Communications seeks a Technology Research Analyst for Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) to investigate talent acquisition tech, business models, and market developments. You will produce evidence-based reports, analyze survey findings, and present insights to executives.

Reporting to the VP of Research, you will focus on talent acquisition technology while contributing to staffing technology research. Remote US-based with West Coast preference.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to organize, validate, analyze, and interpret data.
• Excellent business writing, including ability to produce clear, concise, well-structured analysis for decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Produce independent and collaborative research.
• Develop survey-based insights; questionnaire design, outreach, survey administration, data cleaning, validation, interpretation of results.
• Analyze data and communicate findings visually with accurate charts and tables for executives.
• Build expertise and industry relationships; monitor tech developments, vendor briefings, product demonstrations, exchange market observations.
• Support Crain clients; respond to inquiries, gather feedback, help apply insights.
• Present research to executives; speak at conferences, webinars, and client briefings; develop compelling presentations.
