Job summary

Unum seeks an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to lead a delivery team supporting enterprise capabilities and FINEOS solutions. You will coach and develop the team, manage performance, and align delivery with business priorities in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

You will partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and technology leadership to maintain a healthy backlog and drive continuous improvement, fostering an inclusive culture focused on accountability and customer value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
5+ years leading technology delivery teams, programs, or operations.
Direct people leadership experience including coaching and development.
Experience in Agile delivery environments.
Ability to manage competing priorities, delivery risks, and stakeholder expectations.
Experience partnering with business leaders, product teams, and technology organizations.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of technology professionals.
Provide direct people leadership including performance management and succession planning.
Drive successful delivery of technology solutions aligned with business priorities.
Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and tech leadership to maintain a prioritized backlog.
Identify and manage risks, blockers, and dependencies.
Support Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement.
