Job summary

Unum, a Fortune 500 employee benefits leader, seeks an Enterprise Architect to drive the Target State Architecture and technology roadmaps aligning with business strategy across portfolios. You will collaborate with senior technology and product leaders, ensure architectural governance, and enable cost‑effective, scalable solutions across the organization.

You will mentor other architects, engage in prototyping and vendor evaluation, and help maintain architectural standards within Agile/Lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (CS, IS, Engineering)
• Strong understanding of SDLC and IT strategy with governance experience
• Experience leading value stream mapping and defining business capabilities
• Familiarity with ArchiMate modeling and BizzDesign tooling

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise architecture standards and governance
• Lead Architects and technical leaders across domains
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create/maintain technology roadmaps
• Evaluate emerging technologies and support technology strategy and portfolio decisions
• Communicate architectural plans to leadership and business partners
