Job summary

Truist Audit Manager in the United States seeks a senior auditor to lead high-risk, complex internal audits and provide objective assurance and advisory services. You will coach junior staff, plan engagements, and oversee testing in applications, cloud environments, data management, and technology governance.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, communication, and the ability to navigate evolving tech risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 6–8 years of banking, auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure and IT service management.
• Deep knowledge of ITGCs, ITACs, and the SDLC.
• Experience with COSO, COBIT, NIST, SOX, PCI DSS and related frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to convey root causes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engagement Manager on high-risk audits, planning scope and test plans.
• Lead integrated audits across applications, cloud, governance, data management and modernization.
• Allocate resources and manage schedules within budget.
• Develop audit reports aligned with the risk appetite framework and present to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and promote methodology adherence.
• Provide advisory support for new systems and changes.
• Challenge with subject matter knowledge to support business partnerships.
