Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an Audit Manager to lead high-risk, complex audits and provide objective assurance and advisory services. You will coach junior staff, manage resources, and apply data analytics to engagements spanning applications, cloud, governance, and modernization initiatives.

Applicants should have 6–8 years in banking or auditing, strong IT controls knowledge, and excellent communication skills. The role is based in the United States (1st shift).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 6–8 years banking or audit experience in risk-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT controls, SDLC and risk management concepts.
• Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, NIST, SOX, PCI DSS frameworks.
• Excellent written/verbal skills and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-risk audits; plan, scope, and develop test plans with data analytics.
• Set quality expectations; assess technology processes and control effectiveness.
• Develop and present audit reports aligning with risk appetite.
• Identify issues and provide practical remediation strategies.
• Coach and mentor junior team members; promote method adherence.
• Leverage expertise in business technology, cybersecurity and cloud tech.
• Manage multiple audits and advisory work involving new systems or changes.
• Work independently, navigate ambiguity and emerging risks in tech environments.
