Job summary

Truist Audit Manager leads high-risk IT audits across Consumer and Corporate lines, coordinating planning, risk assessment and execution. You will focus on application controls, data management, and modernization initiatives while guiding audit teams to quality results.

You will coach junior staff, articulate risks clearly, and present insights to senior leaders, aligning with Truist's risk appetite and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 6–8 years in banking, auditing, or relevant area.
• Strong knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure and trends.
• Knowledge of ITGCs, ITACs, and SDLC.
• Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, NIST, SOX, PCI DSS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engagement Manager for high-risk IT audits across consumer and corporate lines.
• Lead planning, risk assessment, scoping, and execution of IT audit programs.
• Develop risk-based testing strategies using analytics and automation.
• Coach and mentor junior team members on audit execution and delivery.
• Communicate audit findings and remediation plans to stakeholders.
