Job summary

Truist is seeking an Audit Manager to lead high-risk, complex internal audits and advisory engagements. You will coach junior staff, coordinate data-analytic test plans, and oversee technology-focused audits across applications, cloud environments, and modernization efforts.

The role demands deep knowledge of ITGCs, SDLC, COSO/COBIT/NIST frameworks, and strong communication to present findings to stakeholders. Regular on-site work in the U.S. accompanies complex risk-based assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, IT security, accounting, business or related field.
• Six to eight years of banking, auditing or relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure and industry trends.
• Strong knowledge of ITGCs, ITACs and the SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of COSO, COBIT, NIST, SOX, PCI DSS.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engagement Manager of high risk, complex audits, including data analytics.
• Lead audits spanning applications, cloud, governance, data management and modernization.
• Allocate resources and manage schedules to complete assignments within budget.
• Develop audit reports with clear remediation strategies and risk articulation.
• Coach junior team members and promote methodological adherence.
• Provide advisory support during system changes and technology initiatives.
