Job summary

Truist seeks an Audit Manager to lead high-risk IT audit engagements across Consumer and Corporate lines, guiding planning, risk assessment, scoping, and execution while coaching junior staff.

You will build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, deliver clear audit reports, and drive remediation strategies within Truist's risk appetite framework, and contribute to strategic technology risk initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, accounting or related field.
• Six to eight years of banking, auditing or relevant IT risk experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITGCs, ITACs and SDLC concepts.
• Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, NIST, SOX and PCI DSS frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engagement Manager for high-risk IT audits across Consumer and Corporate lines.
• Lead planning, risk assessment, scoping, and execution of IT audit programs.
• Develop risk-based testing strategies with data analytics & automation.
• Coach and mentor junior team members to strengthen capabilities.
• Deliver audit reports with root causes and remediation guidance.
