Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field.
• 6–8 years of banking/audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of banking and financial services.
• Solid risk management understanding.
• Analytical, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to grasp complex information and communicate root causes.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-risk, complex audit engagements by planning scope and test plans.
• Effectively allocate resources and personnel to complete audits within budget.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
• Develop meaningful audit reports aligned with Truist's risk appetite framework.
• Identify substantive issues beyond paperwork; propose solutions and improvements.
• Provide advisory support for new systems, processes, and changes.
• Ensure timely, quality delivery of multiple audits and projects.
