Job summary

Truist is seeking an Audit Manager to lead high‑risk, complex IT audits across Consumer and Corporate lines. You will guide planning, risk assessment, scoping, and execution while developing testing strategies with data analytics and automation.

You will coach junior staff and report findings to senior leadership. You will build trusted relationships with stakeholders, ensure adherence to Truist Audit Services standards, and deliver timely, high‑quality audit results that support risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training/experience.
• 6–8 years of banking, auditing, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure and IT industry trends.
• Knowledge of ITGCs, ITACs and SDLC.
• Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, NIST, SOX, PCI DSS.
• Experience leading IT audit engagements and risk assessments.
• Strong written, verbal, and negotiating skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and audit tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engagement Manager for high-risk IT audit engagements across Consumer and Corporate lines.
• Lead planning, risk assessment, scoping, and execution of IT audits.
• Develop risk-based testing strategies with data analytics and automation.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and promote methodological adherence.
• Prepare audit reports with clear risk, control, and remediation guidance.
